Everything Matters

Photographing in family and friend's homes as well as in my own apartment, this series explores the meaning of home and comfort. What makes up the private and intimate spaces we know and feel at ease in and what shapes our broad understanding of domesticity.

I grew up in a home where communication was poor and emotions were not expressed easily. Now that I have my own home and family, these intimate domestic portraits are my way of showing what evokes feelings of security what generates feelings of serenity and peace within my private sphere.
